2. Event Participation

Attendance is subject to prior registration and confirmation.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke access to anyone violating these terms.

3. Code of Conduct

Attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

4. Photography and Filming

The organiser may photograph, video record, or livestream portions of the event for promotional and archival purposes.

By attending, you consent to being recorded unless you explicitly opt out by notifying the organizers in writing before the event.

5. Data Collection and Use

Personal data provided during registration will be processed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Kenyan Data Protection Act, 2019, and any other data laws at the host country

Data will only be used for event administration, communication, and related purposes.

6. Consent for Communication

By registering, you agree to receive communications related to the event, including updates, reminders, and post-event feedback surveys. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

7. Data Sharing

Personal information may be shared with event partners and sponsors, strictly for purposes related to the event.

No data will be sold or shared for unrelated commercial use.

8. Access to Data

You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting the event organizers at the provided contact details.

9. Badge Usage

Event badges must be worn at all times within the venue.

Badges are non-transferable and may not be shared with others.

10. Health and Safety

Attendees must adhere to all health and safety regulations, as prescribed by local authorities, the event venue and the event organizers.

11. Liability

The organiser is not liable for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Intellectual Property

Materials, presentations, and content shared during the event are protected by intellectual property laws. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without permission from the rightful owners.

13. Event Modifications

The organiser reserves the right to modify the event schedule, content, or venue as necessary. Attendees will be notified of any significant changes.

14. Cancellation and Refunds

For attendees opting for the paid option for the event, the tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers. In such cases, a full refund will be issued, subject to the refund policy for each of the events

15. Third-Party Services

The event may include third-party services, such as catering or accommodation. The organiser is not responsible for issues arising from these services.

16. Children and Minors

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Specific areas may have age restrictions.

17. Prohibited Items

Weapons, hazardous materials, and items deemed unsafe are prohibited within the event premises.

18. Security Checks

The organiser reserves the right to conduct security checks on attendees and their belongings for safety purposes.

19. Force Majeure

The organizers are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, with due consideration to applicable international data protection laws, including the GDPR.
